When Manny Pacquiao appears on ABC’s Jimmel Kimmel LIVE, it’s a sure bet that there’s a Pacquiao fight coming up.
Last May 26, he was a guest on the show to promote his June 9 fight with undefeated champion Timothy Bradley.
It was his sixth consecutive appearance dating back to November 3, 2009 for the Cotto fight hich also marked his nationally televised talk show debut appearance in the US.
The highlights of this guesting would probably be Kimmel offering to mediate the fight between Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather, Jr.
“What if I tell you that if I can get you and Floyd in a room on television, you could each have one representative, I could make this happen. I really feel like I could be the mediator. Would you agree to something like that?”
Pacquiao said yes prompting Kimmel to invite Mayweather,
“Floyd you heard it, I invite you… we will hatch out an agreement and get this fight.”
Sigh, if only it’s as simple as that.
Mayweather has repeatedly say that Top Rank chief Bob Arum stands in the way for the fight to happen. He also wants Pacquiao to submit to Olympic-level drug testing due to his steroids-use allegations. Mayweather is also scheduled to go to prison on June 1 following a guilty plea for a domestic violence case.

Kimmel also asked Pacquiao on his spiritual transformation and his controversial stand on same-sex marriage.
